Keeping the Lights On – Careers in Electrical Systems and Storm Restoration

Virtual Career Panel

Hear from Exelon employees about what its like to be “in the field” working on electrical infrastructure in your community. From bucket trucks to storm recovery planning, learn about their career paths, educational background, and what a typical day looks like for them. What do they enjoy most about their careers and what are the challenges they face. Come ready to ask questions of your own as well!

Who Should Attend?
Young people in the following locations that are currently in high school are welcome to register.

  • Washington DC
  • Maryland
  • Delaware
  • Pennsylvania: In the PECO service area of Philadelphia and its PA suburbs
  • New Jersey: In the Atlantic City Electric service area of southern New Jersey
  • Illinois: In the ComEd service area of northern Illinois

Participants must be in 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade, or an alumni of the Exelon Foundation STEM Academy or Exelon Foundation Boys to STEM Academy.

Participants must have computer and internet access and be interested in fully participating in the Zoom session by sharing video and audio.
