Chris Crane Memorial Scholarship

The Chris Crane Memorial Scholarship is a supportive and clear pathway from student engagement in the Exelon Foundation STEM Academy and Boys to STEM Academy to entry into the energy workforce, ideally as an Exelon employee. This capstone offering of a post-secondary scholarship opportunity to Exelon Foundation STEM Academy and Boys to STEM Academy alumni supports students with a scholarship to a two or four year educational institution.*

The Scholarship is:

  • Both academic and financial need-based.
  • Available as a two- or four-year scholarship, renewable for up to three years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned.
  • Open to alumni with a 2.8 GPA.
  • Opportunity to interview for an internship at Exelon. Preference will be given to applicants pursuing the following fields of study: core branches of engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Environmental); finance/business; accounting; and IT.
  • A change of major or school may impact continuation of scholarship. All change requests must be reviewed and approved by the scholarship committee.
  • Preference will be given to students who are attending an educational institution within the Exelon company service footprint.

Eligibility:

Applicants must have previously attended a summer week-long Exelon Foundation STEM Academy or Boys to STEM Academy and be enrolled full time in a two or four year educational institution for the Fall 2025 academic year.
